In 2018, Planning commission Pakistan and Higher Education Commission Pakistan has awarded “Advanced Robotics & Automation Lab” affiliated with “National Center for Robotics & Automation” to Department of Mechatronics Engineering, University of Engineering & Technology Peshawar. The lab aims to conduct cutting edge research to indigenously develop prototypes and commercial products with an intent of raising Pakistan’s GDP through robotics & automation technology.

Advanced Robotics and Automation Lab is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to offer automation services across the globe in various fields including biomedical, agriculture, oil & gas, hydro power and water & sanitation service companies.
