Dr. Akhtar Nawaz Khan is working in the University of Engineering & Technology, Peshawar, Jalozai Campus as an Associate Professor since Sept. 12, 2022. He has also served in UET Peshawar as an Assistant Professor from May 30, 2013 till Sept. 12, 2022. He has worked as an International Internship scholar in the Fukuda Laboratory, National Institute of Informatics, Tokyo, Japan on the topic large-scale simulation for internet topology analysis in computer networks. His research interests include optical system modeling, design, and analysis, network and computer algorithms, elastic optical networks, as well as optical network resource optimization problems. He has certifications in courses including mathematics for machine learning, accounting data analytics with Python, and IBM Data Analysis with Python.
