Dr. Arshad Mehmood earned his Bachelor of Engineering from UET Peshawar in 2006, his MSc from The George Washington University, USA, and his PhD from Virginia Tech, USA, in 2013. His research focuses on numerical modeling of vortex-induced vibrations, energy harvesting from these vibrations, and active and passive flow control modeling. Additionally, he works on wave modeling.
Dr. Mehmood is dedicated to academia, actively teaching and supervising both graduate and undergraduate students. He is also involved in various industrial projects, contributing his expertise to advance practical applications in his field.
