Prof. Dr. Ishaq Ahmad, with a PhD in Mineral Process Engineering from Germany, has served as Chairman since October 2020, showcasing exceptional leadership. Previously, he excelled as Director of QEC for one year, elevating academic standards. Under his guidance, the Mining Engineering department achieved PEC’s OBE accreditation at Level II. His research expertise is evident through numerous impact factor and HEC recognized publications, alongside conference papers and successful NRPU research project completion. He has also supervised many undergraduate and graduate research projects and currently overseeing three PhD scholars. Additionally, he has served on various committees for HEC, PEC, and UET, highlighting administrative proficiency. His commitment to research, review, and evaluation consistently advances knowledge and fosters academic excellence.
