Dr. Muniba Ashfaq (Ph.D) received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degree in Computer Systems Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan, in 2008, 2014, and 2021 respectively Currently, Dr. Muniba Ashfaq is serving as a lecturer in the department of Computer Systems Engineering, University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan. Her research interests include biomedical image processing and analysis for disease detection and segmentation (brain tumor, multiple sclerosis and skin cancer) using machine learning and image registration techniques, Applying Artificial Intelligence techniques in skin cancer melanoma and brain anomalies detection and segmentation. Active contour models for segmentation of skin and brain lesions.
