Prof. Dr. Rizwan Gul graduated from NWFP UET, Peshawar with a distinguished academic record. After serving in the same institution as lecturer for a period of one year he joined Massachusetts Institute of Technology for further studies. His Master’s thesis was on fatigue and creep characterization of tough matrix composites. His Ph.D. work was on the use of high molecular weight polyethylene in total joint replacements. He worked in GIK Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, Topi as Assistant and Associate Professor for a period of seven years and University of Bahrain for a period of three years, before joining UET Peshawar in 2007. Prof. Dr. Rizwan Gul’s research interests lie in the field Biomaterials, Polymers and Composites, and in structure-property relationship. He is also been involved in several administrative roles such as Chief Editor JEAS, Director QEC, Secretary BOASAR, Director USPCASE and Chairman Mechanical Engineering Department. He is author of numerous Journal and Conference publications.
