Engr. Uroosa Nadir

Lecturer

Engr. Uroosa Nadir is serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar, Jalozai Campus, Pakistan. Engr. Uroosa is currently on study leave and enrolled in PhD in the area of Manufacturing Automation and Robotics at the University of British Columbia Vancouver, Canada, where her course work is completed and will complete her proposal defense by the end of December 2024. Her PhD research is focused on the path planning of 3D printing and its effects on the final product.

Engr. Uroosa’s research interests are CAD/CAM and 3D printing that reflect her ongoing research at the CAD/CAM Laboratory where she is currently working. The research addresses the path 3D printing plans for printing the support structure and component part as it has its effects on cycle time and quality of product. Her work in Human factors help her design many parts that enhances the efficiency of workers in industries.
