Dr. Tufail Habib is an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at UET Peshawar, Pakistan. He earned his PhD in Mechanical & Industrial Engineering from Aalborg University, Denmark, in 2014, an MS in Mechatronics from FH Aachen, Germany, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from UET Peshawar. His research interests include Sustainable Design and Manufacturing, Industry 4.0 and Digital Technologies, 3D Printing/Additive Manufacturing, Product Design, and Mass Customization. His work has been widely disseminated through book chapters, journal articles, and presentations at international conferences. Dr. Tufail is an HEC-approved PhD supervisor and actively reviews proposals for various funding agencies. He has secured research funding from the Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) and IGNITE and received funding for an external research stay in Japan. He is actively involved in industry-funded research projects focusing on sustainable design and manufacturing.
