Dr. Shahzad Anwar, PhD (UK), CEng, MIET (London), is an Associate Professor of Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar. He is leading Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare Lab under the National Centre of Artificial Intelligence, focusing on Computer Vision and Intelligent Systems. Dr. Anwar has extensive experience in academic research and administration, having secured significant research funding and published widely in top journals. He holds a PhD from UWE Bristol and an MS from GIK Institute, with additional qualifications in Public Administration and HR Management. Dr. Anwar is a Chartered Engineer with a robust background in Machine Learning, clinical Image Processing, and Intelligent Transportation Systems.
