Prof. Dr. Nisar Mohammad
Prof. Dr. Nisar Mohammad is a distinguished expert in mining engineering with extensive academic and industry experience. He earned his Ph.D. in Mining Engineering in 2017. His research contributed to multiple publications in renowned journals.
With over 26 years of teaching and research experience, Dr. Nisar has been actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education at the University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Peshawar, Pakistan. He specializes in industrial minerals, drilling technology, mineral processing, and surface mine design. His expertise extends to mine planning, mineral processing, environmental-friendly mining techniques, and rock blasting methods.
In addition to academia, he has 8 years of field experience as a Production Manager at the Saindak Copper-Gold Project, where he oversaw large-scale excavation, equipment deployment, and production management. He has also supervised numerous research projects in mineral processing, hydrometallurgical extraction, and mine safety.
Dr. Nisar has contributed significantly to the advancement of mining engineering through research on mineral beneficiation, flotation optimization, hydrometallurgical processing, and artificial intelligence applications in mining. His work has been widely published in international journals, and he remains committed to innovation in the field.
