Dr. Sajjad Hussain, an accomplished Engineering Doctorate holder specializing in Rock Mechanics and Tunneling Engineering, has been an integral member of the faculty at UET Peshawar since 2011, demonstrating outstanding leadership qualities and scholarly prowess. His profound expertise in research is evident through a several research publications recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), boasting significant impact factors, as well as an array of conference presentations and successful completed research and consultancy projects. Dr. Hussain dedication extends beyond his own research endeavors; he has played a pivotal role in mentoring and guiding numerous undergraduate and post-graduate students. In addition to his scholarly contributions, Dr. Hussain has been actively engaged in various administrative capacities within the department and at the university level. His adeptness in administrative affairs is underscored by his involvement in numerous departmental and university committees, where he has demonstrated exceptional organizational skills and a keen understanding of academic governance. Through his involvement in these committees, Dr. Hussain has contributed significantly to the enhancement of academic standards and the overall functioning of the department. Dr. Hussain’s commitment to advancing knowledge and fostering academic excellence is unwavering. His dedication to research, review, and evaluation processes has been instrumental in shaping the scholarly landscape within his field of expertise. Notably, Dr. Hussain plays an active role in the review process for research publications in several international journals with esteemed rankings, including those classified as Q1 and Q2, thereby contributing to the dissemination of cutting-edge research and the promotion of academic rigor and integrity.
