Dr. Salim Raza is a multi-talented academician/researcher, has a vast experience of field, teaching and research in Mining and Petroleum. He got B.Sc. and M.Sc. Mining Engineering degrees from UET Peshawar. He has also obtained Master and PhD in petroleum engineering from University of Alberta and University of Calgary, Canada respectively. Dr. Raza has expertise both in Mining and Petroleum Engineering. His areas of research are enhanced oil recovery, reservoir engineering, mine safety, optimization of drilling and blasting parameters, dimension stone mining and oil well drilling. He has published a number of research papers in numerous peer-reviewed journals. He has supervised a number of postgraduate and undergraduate applied research projects.
