Engr. Dr. Muazzam Arshad is working as Assistant Professor Tenure Track System in the Chemical Engineering Department at UET Peshawar. He has a combined experience of about 16 years in teaching, research and industry. He did his doctorate from Vienna University of Technology, Austria and MS from TU Dortmund, Germany. He has received several merit scholarships for his academic achievements. He has expertise in the field of Process Simulations. His research interests are Green Energy, Thermal process engineering and Process Simulations and their application in separation and purification processes. He authored several refereed journal publications in reputed international journals. Besides journal publication, he has co-authored a Book on Cost Analysis of Adsorption based Air capture of CO2. He successfully completed a research project “Optimization & Energy recovery in Steel Industry” funded by HEC. He has supervised several undergraduate projects and postgraduate thesis. Besides teaching and research, he performed the additional duties of Semester Coordinator, Final Year Project coordinator, Program Team Member and Batch Advisor in the Chemical Engineering Department at UET Peshawar.
