Dr. Saeed Gul is working as Professor at the Chemical Engineering at UET Peshawar. He has about 24 years of teaching, research and industrial experience. Besides teaching and research, he performed the additional duty of Director ORIC (Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization) and Director Career Development Center at UET Peshawar. He remained the Chairman of the department of Chemical Engineering UET Peshawar from 2012 to 2015. His research interest is membrane separations and geopolymer membrane synthesis and its application in separation and purification processes. Besides journal publication, he has one Austrian patent. The Austrian Government awarded him with Prototype award “PRIZE 2010” for the design and construction of a prototype membrane-based thin sugar concentration pilot facility based on the awarded patent and funded project. He successfully completed several funded projects including “Pak-China Joint Research Project “Design and structure modulation of nano-composite membrane with bi-interception layers for juice concentration”. He is the elected Governing Body Member of the Pakistan Engineering Council(2021-2024), Member Engineering Accreditation Board (EAB), Pakistan Engineering council(2021-2024), Member Selection Board, Pakistan Engineering council(2021-2024), Member Selection Board, University of Chakwal, Member Selection Board and Academic Council, Pak-Austria Fachhochschule Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology, Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa  Member/Secretary, National Curriculum Revision Committee (NCRC) in Chemical Engineering, HEC, Pakistan(2015-2018), Convener National Curriculum Revision Committee (NCRC) in Chemical Engineering Technology, National Technology Council, Pakistan, Convener National Curriculum Revision Committee (NCRC) in Petroleum and Gas Engineering Technology, National Technology Council, Pakistan, Member curriculum Advisory Board (CAB), School of Chemical and Materials Engineering (SCME), National University of Science & Technology (NUST) Islamabad, Pakistan, Member Advisory Board, Pakistan Membrane Society.
