Dr. Mansoor Ul Hassan Shah is working as a faculty member in the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar, Pakistan. He has received his Ph.D. from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia and also won the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition organized by UTP, Malaysia. He has received several merit awards and scholarships for his academic achievements. His recent research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of task-specific ionic liquids for environment and energy applications. He has published more than thirty-five (35) ISI indexed articles (with cumulative Impact factor of more than 237) in reputed international journals. Moreover, he also published six (6) book chapters in reputed books. He is serving as a Peer-Reviewer and Guest Editor for several reputed international journals. He is a Senior Member of the International Association for Carbon Capture (IACC). Currently, he is working on different research projects and supervising several postgraduate students in his area of interest.
