Dr. Akhtar Gul is a distinguished academic and researcher known for his contributions to the field of Civil Engineering, with a Ph.D degree in Structural Engineering. He has dedicated his career to exploring sustainable solutions for the construction industry. Dr. Gul’s research focuses on Dry Stacked Masonry, Retrofitting and Restrengthening of lateral strength of Structures, fibrous concrete and innovation on the design and infrastructure of the civil structures. His work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, showcasing his expertise and innovative approaches to sustainable construction solutions. Beyond academia, Dr. Gul is actively involved in consultancy services for private as well as government departments under the umbrella of UET Peshawar. His passion for research and commitment of developing sustainable civil engineering infrastructure through modern tolls and novel construction techniques.
