Ar. Muhammad Iqbal is an academic with master in Environmental Design & a PhD candidate. He is known for his contribution in the field of Architecture as played a key role in bringing Architecture education in KPK. Also emphasis the need to incorporate the sustainable approaches in design and named/specified 8th semester as a mini thesis to explore solutions to architectural/environmental issues based on sustainability. Beyond academia, Ar. Muhammad Iqbal is actively involved in the recognition of architects as professionals in public/private sector and as a former vice-chairman PCATP, got the official approvals of about 1100 posts in kpk. Also, got KPPRA notification, a long-standing demand for the working architects and more in the rest of 12 relative departments to recognize the role of architects/planners. He participated/arranged International Symposium, seminars, interprovincial level workshop etc. His passion of working for the architects’ community/field of architecture and enhanced built-environment serve as an inspiration to aspiring students/professionals.
