Engr. Muhammad Salman is a Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Peshawar. He is Known for his distinguished academic career, he has earned multiple accolades, including a Presidential Gold Medal for academic excellence. He is actively engaged in research in the field of structural dynamics and earthquake engineering, with extensive experience in experimental work on materials and structural systems, including shake table dynamic testing, monotonic and cyclic static testing.

Beyond research, he has played a pivotal role in implementing Outcome-Based Education (OBE) in the department and has been instrumental in organizing Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) accreditation visits. His contributions extend beyond academia, as he has organized workshops on workplace health and safety, facilitated student study tours, and led sports and recreational events to promote student engagement. Additionally, he has been involved in consultancy projects focusing on structural assessment, rehabilitation, and disaster risk reduction.
