Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf
Dr. Mohammad Ashraf has been working as a faculty member at the Department of Civil Engineering for the last 24 years. Starting his career at UET Peshawar in October 2000, he is currently serving the department as a professor. His PhD research on low-cost retrofitting was applied to many structures damaged during past earthquakes, resulting in significant savings to the national economy. Dr. Ashraf’s research focuses on SHA and retrofitting, low-cost and energy-efficient RTB masonry, structural testing, and data analysis. He has supervised several postgraduate students and is the author of numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Ashraf is actively involved in providing consultancy services to many organizations, both in Pakistan and abroad. These organizations include UNDP, C&W, ERRA, P&D, Swiss Development Corporation, Italian Mission, JICA, and many private consultants.
