Mudassir Iqbal is a dedicated researcher in the field of materials and structures. His broader research includes applications of advanced machine learning methods to materials and structural engineering. Specifically, he has worked on the durability of GFRP rebars, as well as the mechanical and microstructural characterization of seawater sea sand concrete. He has published more than 80 impact factor articles and currently has 1600 citations. Furthermore, he has recommended guidelines regarding the production and durability of GFRP rebars to various structural codes including ACI 440, and CSA-S806-02.
