Dr. Muhammad Hassan

Assistant Professor

Dr. Muhammad Hassan acquired his MSc and PhD in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics from the Harbin Institute of Technology, China in 2017. He was awarded a fully funded MSc and PhD foreign scholarship in the field of Energy Systems by HEC Pakistan. His research focused on gas-solid multiphase flow in an internally circulating fluidized bed (ICFB), using Eulerian-Eulerian modeling and the kinetic theory of granular flow. He collaborated with international scientists from CSIRO Australia and published research articles in international journals. Hassan has been working as an Assistant Professor at USPCAS-E, UET Peshawar since 2017. He is the OBE (outcome-based education) coordinator and post-graduate advisor of Thermal System Engineering at USPCAS-E guiding undergraduate and postgraduate students on their academic and research-related matters. He has supervised more than 15 MSc students in their research thesis. His research interests include; Computational fluid dynamics (CFD), Thermo-fluids, Multiphase flows, Fluidization, Gasification, and Renewable/Alternate energy systems.
