Prof. Dr. Siraj Ul Islam

Meritorious Professor

Dr. Siraj-ul-Islam is an academician and researcher in computational mathematics, currently serving as a Professor Meritorious at UET Peshawar. He holds a PhD in Computational Mathematics from GIK Institute and has completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Slovenia. With extensive experience in research and teaching, he has held key positions such as Dean and Chairman at UET Peshawar and has collaborated internationally as a research
consultant and Visiting Professor in Sweden, India, Oman, Turkey, and Slovenia. His research focuses on Numerical Algorithms, Modeling &  Simulation, and Topology Optimization. Dr. Siraj-u l-Islam has received numerous awardes, including the Best Teacher Award and multiple Research Productivity Awards. He has made significant contributions to Applied Mathematics and its interdisciplinary applications in engineering, with numerous publications in high-impact journals. Additionally, he has supervised several MS and PhD students, served on editorial boards, and organized international conferences. His expertise spans Computational Techniques, including Haar Wavelet-based Methods and Meshless Methods for the numerical solution of PD Es and Integral Equations.
