Haseen Ullah Jan
Haseen Ullah Jan is a PhD scholar at the University of Peshawar, focusing on “computational analysis of structural, electronic, and optical properties of complex oxides ABMnO,, using density functional theo1y (DFT) and their applications in photovoltaic devices”. Prior to his PhD, Haseen completed his Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in the Physics Department at the Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad. His MPhil research was focused on hardness of steel using DFT. Mr. Jan is also a QAU alumni and graduated from QAU with a MSc in Physics. Currently he is working as faculty member at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar, since August 2016. He served as a research fellow at the New Technologies Research Center (NTC) at the University of West Bohemia (CZ) to design efficient DSSC’s materials for water splitting and Hydrogen production. Mr. Jan used to work as an engage lecturer in multiple institutions, including Federal Urdu University, Riphah International University, and International Islamic University at Islamabad, Pakistan. Leveraging advanced OBE-based teaching methodologies and state of the art deep learning techniques, his aim is to mentor students and produce creative skill full scientists & engineers for the betterment of community, society, and humani .
