Dr. Abdul Basit received his BSc degree in Electrical Engineering in 2012 from University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar, Pakistan, the MSc degree in 2015 from CECOS University of IT and Emerging Sciences Peshawar, Pakistan, and the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from UET Peshawar, Pakistan in 2021.
From 2013 to 2017, he served as a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering UET Campus Bannu, Pakistan. From 2017 to 2018, he served as an Assistant Director at NTDC (National Transmission and Dispatch Company) Pakistan. From 2022 to 2024, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Zhejiang University, China. He is now an Assistant Professor (Adjunct) at the University of Warsaw, Poland. His research interests are mainly in the design of microwave filters, power-integrated differential controllers, reconfigurable antenna designs at millimeter-wave applications etc.
