Prof. Dr. Muhammad Javed holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from UET Peshawar with specialization in Structural/Earthquake Engineering. His primary research focus is inelastic response of masonry buildings system against earthquake loading.

Besides working on his research area, he is actively involved in consultancy projects mainly on cost effective retrofitting scheme designs for masonry and R.C building systems.

Additionally, he is teaching postgraduate courses and supervising Masters and Ph.D. students at CED, UET Peshawar.
