Ms. Shaista is a lecturer in English in the Dept. of basic sciences and lslamiat. She holds an MPhil degree with a specialization in Linguistics and is currently enrolled in doctoral program. Her research focuses on syntax, particularly the study of surface and deep structures in languages. She is also interested in language acquisition, discourse analysis, and computational linguistics. She teaches Functional English and Communication to undergraduate students with special focus on the presentation and communication skills. Moreover, she is an active member of both academic and disciplinary committees in University.
