Got his B. Arch. degree from NED UET Karachi in 1996 after completing his five years Bachelor of Architecture studies at Dawood College of Engineering & Technology, Karachi; obtained his Post-Graduate Diploma in Architecture from UET Lahore in 2002, another Post-Graduate Diploma in Environmental Design from AIOU Islamabad in 2010, and a Masters degree in Urban & Regional Planning from University of Peshawar in 2012. Worked as a professional practitioner from 1997 to February 2006 along with providing services to Dera Development Authority as Coordinator Building Control Agency and to SME Bank as an official Consultant. He has been teaching at the Department of Architecture, UET Peshawar since March 01, 2006. Has also taught at the Department of Architecture, CECOS University Peshawar for a period of nine months in 2010-2011. He also served the Department as Semester Coordinator, HoD and the Coordinator of the Campus several times whenever trusted by the University authorities.
He is also a member of various academic bodies at different professional institutes like BOS of Hazara University and CECOS University, Curriculum Development Team of NTC HEC for Architectural Engineering Technology Program, and Program Evaluation Team at Hazara University etc.
