Dr. Asmat Ullah
Currently I am working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Peshawar, Pakistan. I received PhD from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Loughborough University in 2014. I also worked for 1 year as a Postdoc research fellow at NTU Singapore in 2015. Since 2009, I have been actively involved in water purification with slotted pore membranes. I have published a number of articles from my research in eminent journals in the field of membrane science and purification and separation. Further, I have presented my research work in various international conferences and published a number of book chapters. I have secured research funding of worth 8.832 Million PKR from HEC Pakistan. I reviewed articles for Journal of Membrane Science, Separation Science and Technology, Desalination Journal and Environmental Science and Technology. My ambitions are understanding membrane/particle interaction with, and without membrane oscillation and machine learning applications in chemical engineering. I have developed a strong collaboration with world leading scientists in the field of membrane technology and water purification, especially in the USA and UK.
