Dr. Majad Ashraf Khan is working as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar, Pakistan Since 1996. He earned his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering (Majors in Wireless Communications) from the University of the University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar, Pakistan in 2018. He has done two master degrees. He earned one Master degree in Electrical Engineering (Majors in Communications) from University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar, Pakistan in 2000. He did his second masters in Telecommunication Engineering from Denmark Technical University (DTU), Denmark in 2003. He was the recipient of University Grant Commission Scholarship. He earned his Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering with Honours and distinction from UET Peshawar in 1996. Dr.Majad’s research interests lie in performance analysis of computer and wireless communication networks. He is mainly interested is in the analysis of Ad-Hoc Networks (MANETs), Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks (VANETs), Wireless Area Networks (WANs), Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPANs), Body Area Networks (BANs), Internet of Things (loT), 5G Networks, Routing, Network Traffic Estimation, and Intelligent Transportation Systems. He has published/produced more than 40 technical journal and conference papers, all in well-reputed venues. He has conducted workshops and keynote speaker in the workshop. He is professional Engineer member of Pakistan Engineering Council. Due to his long services, the Pakistan Engineering Council has granted him lifetime membership.
