Dr. Muhammad Hamed Khan

Dr. Muhammad Hamed Khan completed his BSc (2004) and MSc (2006) degree in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Soil and Water Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Peshawar, Pakistan. He completed his PhD from Massey University, New Zealand in the field of Soil Sciences and Environmental Hydrology. He is working as a Lecturer and Program Team Member in the Department of Agricultural Engineering, UET Peshawar, Pakistan. He has research interest in environmental hydrology and Soil Sciences, with specific expertise in the subject area of catchment hydrology, water quality, Soil Salinity, Climate change water productivity, irrigation and agricultural drainage systems. He is specialized in integration of field observations, geographical information system, hydrological models, and Climate change models to study water use, leaching from agricultural soils, water productivity, surface water and groundwater hydrology. He has lifetime membership of Pakistan Engineering Council, Pakistan as Professional Engineer.
