Dr. Sakhi Zaman got his PhD degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from University of Engineering & Technology Peshawar. The subject area is the numerical solution of highly oscillatory problems, which includes solution of highly oscillatory integral transforms, oscillatory integral equations and numerical computation of highly oscillatory PDEs and ODEs, which are the modeled problems of electromagnetics, optics, seismology image processing, acoustics, and quantum mechanics.
Currently, Dr. Zaman is working as Lecturer in the Department of Basic Sciences, UET Peshawar, Bannu Campus, Pakistan, where he has served diligently for almost 18 years. He is teaching courses of Basic Sciences in the Electrical & Civil Engineering Departments, UET Bannu Campus. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he has taken on various administrative roles, including In-charge Basic Sciences, Proctorial Board member, In-charge Canteen, UET Bannu Campus. His commitment to both academia and administrative duties underscores his dedication to advancing the Engineering programs.
