Dr. Syed Roohullah Jan completed his BSc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering Department (MED) at University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Peshawar followed by his M.Sc. Degree in the same department with focus on Engineering materials. He pursued his Ph.D. Degree from University of British Columbia (UBC) Vancouver, Canada in the department of Mechanical Engineering. Roohullah Jan’s research interest in his M.Sc. Degree was based on deposition of metallic coatings by “Cold Spray Coating Technique” for corrosion resistance and biocompatible materials. His Ph.D.’s. research interest was in “Additive Manufacturing” (AM) with focus on “Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing” (WAAM) of corrosion and wear resistant materials in collaboration with National Research Council (NRC) of Canada. Syed is currently working as a full-time faculty member at MED, UET Peshawar, Pakistan. He also remained part of the faculty at ME Department, UBC,Vancouver, Canada.
