Engr. Irshad Ullah is currently working as a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar, Jalozai Campus. He did his BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering from UET Peshawar, in 2015 and 2020 respectively. His research interests include Machine learning, Deep learning, and Reinforcement learning and its application in smart grids. He applies deep neural networks for short-term load forecasting and Reinforcement learning to energy cost minimization, associated carbon emission, Demand response, EV charging and battery management system, heating and cooling devices, and HVAC while keeping user comfort. His research is not limited to a single building and extends to the district.
