Engr. Zahid Zaman earned his Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical Engineering from Sarhad University of Engineering & Information Technology (SU&IT) in 2010. In May 2012, He joined SU&IT as a Lab Engineer, where he began his academic and professional journey. He completed his Master of Science (MS) in Electrical Engineering from the same university in 2016.
His research interests include optical communication, long-haul optical transmission networks, and the application of artificial intelligence for impairment mitigation in optical systems.
In 2018, He joined the University of Engineering and Technology,Peshawar (UET) as a Lecturer. With over 14 years of teaching experience, Engr. Zahid have been actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate education.It is noteworthy that Mr. Zaman was the recipient of the prestigious Endeavour Award Australia in 2012.
