Prof. Dr. Irshad Ahmad holds a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering with a focus on Seismic Soil Structure Interaction. With over 25 years of teaching and research experience at the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, he has mentored many bachelors and Postgraduate students over the years, contributing to research. His work spans seismic hazard analysis, infrastructure stability, and soil-pile interaction. He has authored numerous publications in international reputable journals, advancing knowledge in geotechnical and earthquake engineering. His leadership extends to administrative roles, including Chairmanship of the Department of Civil Engineering and commitment to knowledge exchange is evident through international workshops and conferences he organizes.
