Prof. Dr. Rashid Nawaz is serving as a Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar, Pakistan. Dr. Nawaz has earned his Ph.D. in Engineering from UET Peshawar in 2020, where his doctoral research focused on innovative approaches to sustainable manufacturing and optimization of industrial processes.

Prof. Dr. Nawaz’s research interests are diverse yet interconnected, reflecting his commitment to address contemporary challenges in industrial engineering. His work in sustainable manufacturing aims to develop environmentally friendly and economically viable production processes. He is also involved in the design of industrial facilities design and location analysis to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in industrial operations, and strategic placement of industrial facilities, optimizing logistics, and minimizing costs.
