Prof. Dr. Yasir Irfan Badrashi
Prof. Dr. Yasir Irfan Badrashi holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from UET Peshawar with specialization in Structural/Earthquake Engineering. His primary research focus has been on the behavior of reinforced concrete structural systems against seismic loading, besides working in other research areas. He has also been actively involved in consultancy projects for reputed organizations such as UNICEF. Additionally, he teaches postgraduate courses and supervises Master’s and Ph.D. students at NIUIP, UET Peshawar. Prof. Badrashi has served as Chairman of the Department of Civil Engineering and as Campus Coordinator at the Bannu Campus. Moreover, he has been instrumental in adopting Outcome-Based Education in the department as Chairman, leading to its accreditation by the Pakistan Engineering Council at Level-II, besides undertaking various other responsibilities in the department and campus.
